I know how to write compelling online content. While I was an Editorial Assistant at Newsweek, I wrote and reported Breaking News and Culture stories about a wide variety of topics. Before this role, I was a freelance writer covering social justice, Internet culture and more. My work was featured on Bustle, Hello Giggles, For Harriet, BAUCE, Elite Daily and more. Throughout my career I’ve written about current events, social issues, culture and lifestyle (to name a few!). In the age of technology, social media is an extremely necessary tool. Through my professional roles alongside personal experience, I have learned how to use a number of platforms from Twitter and Facebook to Tumblr and Contently. This skill set allows me to build a brand for a client, or for myself, by connecting with people all around the world. One of the best things about using social media to reach an audience is the experimental aspect. I am constantly building upon my knowledge of what works and what doesn’t when it comes to reaching an audience. In terms of my own following, I use my platform to share important messages while also showing my sense of humor. Above all, I have been a creative person all my life. I am constantly thinking of the next way to express myself.
